The IDIS training will provide new users of IDIS with a basic understanding of HUD’s grants management process, an overview of IDIS features and functions, an understanding of how CDBG funds are added to IDIS, activity funding and drawdowns, basic grant balances and deadlines, and the skills needed to perform basic functions, including reporting. This two-session NSPIRE training is an implementation-focused course designed to translate HUD’s inspection standards into day-to-day inspection practice. Participants will gain a clear understanding of the three inspectable areas, deficiency criteria, severity levels, and affirmative habitability requirements.
